Come and enjoy fantastic skiing in the Portes du Soleil region of the French Alps and stay in our lovely chalet. Haut Reve is furnished to a high standard and with all modern conveniences. The chalet is situated in a quiet valley about a mile out of the village and on the main route to the lifts. It is possible to ski back to within 100 metres of the chalet.

Enjoy the pleasures of a real fire whilst relaxing in comfortable sofas after a hard days skiing. There is a DVD and Video player to enjoy a film from our large collection. A music centre and board games can be found in the sideboard for you families pleasure. The sitting and dining area is one open living space and provides a bery sociable and friendly atmosphere. The dining table is large and will seat 12 people. Quality china, glass wear and cutlery can be found in the dresser.

The kitchen is fitted with pine units and tiled work surfaces. It is fully equipped with a double oven, hob and extractor, a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, and microwave. An iron and ironing board can be found in the cupboard in the entrance. A washer/tumble dryer is fitted at the back of the garage. There is a drying room in the entrance porch which proves invaluable in bad weather.

The Chalet has 4 bedrooms. 2 double rooms, 1 bunk room (2 sets of bunks) with a small en-suite shower room and a family bedroom (double bed and 1 set of bunks) with en-suite bathroom with shower over. Also, a large family bathroom with a bath and shower over. All bedrooms are fitted with wardrobes and drawer units with a hair dryer in each room. There is also a mothercare travel cot with bedding if needed.

All bed linen is supplied together with kitchen towelling and small hand towels and bath mats for the bathrooms. Changeover day is Saturday and we would not ask you to arrive before 4.00 pm without prior notice. Upon your departure from the chalet, by 10.00 am, please strip the beds and I would ask that you leave the chalet as you would like to find it.

I hope to make your holiday as easy as possible you will find most kitchen essentials, cleaning materials, washing powders etc. If you use the last of an item, please replace so that the same hospitality can be offered to our next clients. Likewise please help yourself to that much needed glass of wine of beer after your journey but please leave some for the next clients.

There are some childrens toys to be found in the bunk room cupboard and pens and pencils downstairs. There is also a selection of childrens videos. Plastic dishwear and small cutlery is located in the kitchen.

Chatel is a picturesque village which lies at the end of an open valley in the Haute Savoie. Still very much a rural community the village has developed into an internationally famous ski resort as part of the Portes du Soleil ski region. With a total of 650kms of piste served by more than 200 lifts the ski region offers an almost unrivalled variety of skiing, encompassing resorts in both France and Switzerland. Also the chalet is in an excellent position for great access to the Portes du Soleil region of skiing. You can be in Avoriaz in 30 minutes….by ski!

The warmer months turns Chatel into a beautiful flower trimmed alpine village. With many out door pursuits on offer. The village has a swimming pool complex set within the village affording a view second to none. Tennis, parapenting, white water rafting, mountain biking and fishing are a few activites available of course not forgetting the many miles of walking the mountain paths. Chatel is also only 30 minutes from Lake Geneva on the Swiss side down to Montreux and a 40 minute drive down the deep gorged valley to Thonon les Bains and the famouns Evian les Bains on the French side.

The chalet has a sun terrace with patio furniture and a BBQ.
